DELF Prim & DELF Junior:
My first French certificates!

DELF Prim A1.1, A1 and A2 exams and diplomas (7 to 11 y.o.)

The DELF Prim is an official Diploma of French Language Studies issued by the French Ministry of Education and is recognized worldwide. It allows validating and certifying for French language abilities. Therefore, this diploma allows your child to valorize his ability in French. The DELF Prim is perfectly fit for children between 7 and 11 years old in primary school.

The DELF Prim is divided into 3 levels: A1.1, A1 and A2, corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Level A1.1 is the most accessible one and A2 the most advanced. Later your child will be able to continue with the DELF Junior B1 and the DELF B2 Junior.

DELF A1, A2, B1 and B2 junior version exams and diplomas
(12 to 17 y.o.)

The junior version of DELF is perfectly fit for teenagers between 12 and 18 years old in middle and high-school. The DELF junior version has the same basic structure as the standard DELF for adults...and its value is the same! Only the topics are different: the materials take into account the interests of young people.

The DELF Junior is divided into 4 levels: A1, A2, B1 and B2, corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Level A1 is the most accessible one and B2 the most advanced.

Why sit for the DELF?

    >   It gives your child the opportunity to demonstrate their French language skills
    >   They feel rewarded for their work and motivated to reach higher levels
    >   They get used to sitting exams
    >   In France, the DELF B2 is officially recognised as a minimum requirement for undergraduate entry into French universities & Grandes Ecoles.

Why at Alliance?

The Alliance Francaise de Brisbane is the only DELF and DALF accredited examination centre in Queensland. Our DELF and DALF examiners undergo regular training and have previously completed the compulsory professional training required for France Education International accreditation. All of our examiners also teach French as a foreign language. They value each candidate and apply a can-do approach in a friendly, welcoming and reassuring evaluation. All candidates who sit the DELF or the DALF at the Alliance, including the junior and prim candidates,  enjoy a great experience and want to sit for the next level as soon as their French is ready.
