Alliance française de Brisbane is pleased to invite you to take part in the 50th edition of our French-language poetry
competition for schools!
To celebrate our 50th edition, participation will be free of charge this year.
The
competition is open to all ages (from Prep to Year 12) and will take the form of a recitation of a pre-selected French poem (a song for
Prep to Year 3). Participants will send us a video of themselves reciting/singing, and we will then select the best ones per age group to
take part in our finals (where the participants will have to recite in front of a jury here in Brisbane) later this year. Winners of each
group will receive prizes!
Video submission deadline: 10th September 2024
Final competition: Thursday, 10th October 2024 (postponed from initial date of 5th October)
