Micro-Folie exhibition

Immerse yourself in the wonders of some of the world's greatest museums without leaving Brisbane!

Thanks to a unique partnership between Alliance Française de Brisbane and QUT, embark on an extroadinary cultural journey and visit iconic venues such as the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles, and the Picasso Museum, all right here in our vibrant city.

Open to everyone at The Cube, at QUT’s Gardens Point campus, it invites you to discover iconic works from famed French, European, and international institutions. Through an innovative interactive set-up, you’ll be able to experience art in a whole new way: get lost in Mona Lisa’s enigmatic smile, be moved by the poignancy of Picasso’s Guernica, discover the most intricate details of Degas’s dancers.

Thanks to The Cube’s monumental display, not only you will feel as if you are standing right next to these masterpieces, you will also be able to explore them at leisure on interactive consoles providing troves of additional information.

If you prefer modern art, performing arts or even ethnographic objects, you are in for a treat with content from the Pompidou Centre, the Orsay Museum, Cité de la Musique - Philharmonie de Paris, Paris Opera, Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac and countless more.

Launched in France in 2017, Micro-Folie has since been installed in 400 locations worldwide. This pioneering venture in partnership with QUT, supported by the French Embassy in Australia and the French Ministry of Culture, and led by La Villette in Paris, is an Australian first.
