New Caledonia Film Festival 2024


Join us for an afternoon of filmmaking from New Caledonia on Sunday 22 September at the Australian Cinémathèque at GOMA. Free entry! Suitable for ages 12+.

As part of the celebrations for "Citizenship Day" in New Caledonia (24 September), the Delegation of New Caledonia in Australia is organising the 2024 edition of the New Caledonia Film Festival, in partnership with the network of Alliances Françaises in Australia, the Pacific Centre for International Encounters and Exchanges (CREIPAC), the Australian Cinémathèque at GOMA, l’Association calédonienne des producteurs de fiction (ACPF), and the French Embassy in Canberra.

Funded by the New Caledonian government, the New Caledonia Film Festival will run from 19 to 27 September in eight Australian cities (Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, Sydney, Townsville, Adelaide and Canberra). 

For this year's edition, we are proud to present four short films and one video-clip.
